Angela 'Ang' Sims

Hailing from Kansas City, MO, Angela has been a makeup artist for over five years, working for prominent brands such as Mary Kay and MAC Cosmetics. Since relocating to New York City in 2012, her work has appeared on the Off Broadway play, The Black Social Network; the web series, The Happiest People In New York; and The Wendy Williams Show. 

No stranger to beauty, she remembers being only six years old when she first became obsessed with makeup. "My mom had this large makeup bag that I would beg her to play with, and whenever she'd allowed me to, I'd dump all of the contents on the floor and play with the products for hours. Most notably, the lipstick." 

She has worked backstage during New York Fashion Week, as well as with notable personalities Devyn Simone of TLC's Love At First Swipe, and 'Mo' of www.moknowshair.com.
